Maisons de Mode has approximately 20 boutique-design studios located in Roubaix near the Musée La Piscine museum and on the southside of Lille. Designers with a senior contract status have access to set up shop in these boutiques
As the true headquarters for a designer’s brand, a boutique allows for building a business-to-consumer clientele by giving that clientele a space to view and buy from the designer’s collection on-site. The landlord – MEL – offers sliding scale rents for these boutiques (with the first six months being free of charge).
Designers with a junior contract status are eligible for access to the Jardin de Mode space to develop their collections. Maisons de Mode also has five apartments in Lille to accommodate that many designers coming from other regions.
