9th edition of 48H Maisons de Mode from 15 to 17 September 2017

For the ninth year, Lille will be the scene of a huge fashion fiesta thrown for the public at large by the Maisons de Mode project, which supports more than 30 labels and designers in the north of France.The only event of its kind in Europe, 48H Maisons de Mode attracted more than 19,000 attendees last year.
Friday 15, Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 September, Maisons de Mode and its designers will welcome you to a fashion weekend at the Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille.
Friday 15th September
Maisons de Mode Fashion Show
With both a new president and a new direction, the upcoming 48H Maisons de Mode will mark both a new beginning and a kick-off to this festival that is highly lauded by the fashion industry.
Art Point M will join in the festivities, setting the stage for the fashion show. Following fashion shows organized in Mons, Lille and even more recently in Le Havre, the Roubaix collective will take the reins for this fashion show, served up a floral and verdant setting.
Throughout the summer, the designers have been putting the finishing touches on their autumn/winter collections. Maisons de Mode will be showcasing the designers’ work in the fashion show, where creations from their current autumn/winter season will be on parade. After the fashion show, the clothing and accessories will be available immediately through the designers, their points of sale in France and abroad, and through their online e-commerce sites.

Public Fashion Show at 6.30 pm
You can sign up for the 15 September, 6.30 pm fashion show, and with a contribution of €5 guarantee your admission.
24 hours before the fashion show, you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to choose your favourite read-to-wear designer and your favourite accessories designer.
You will have until the end of the fashion show to vote for your favourites to receive the Coup de Coeur du Public prize.
After the fashion show, a cheque will be presented to the ready-to-wear and accessory designers with the most votes from the public.

Industry Fashion Show at 8.30 pm
Barbara Bui will be the guest of honour for this edition, which marks the 10th anniversary of Maisons de Mode.
The industry fashion (8.30 pm) will be the occasion for partners of the event to award their prizes, allowing them to give a thumbs up and a boost to the designers they will have chosen.
The following will be judging their favourites: Barbara Bui, Printemps, the professional federations BOCI and the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, Who’s Next and Première Classe professional trade fairs, Julie Brunel Consultant, the Showroom Cube and the online platform B2B Playologie.

The 48H Maisons de Mode weekend starts up again Saturday from 2 pm, with the following programme:
Saturday 16 September from 2 pm to after 7:30 pm – Sunday 17 September from noon to 7 pm
La Braderie des Créateurs (3rd edition) : a giant outlet for label and designer gear, end of series pieces, samples, one-of-a-kind pieces, and items from old collections. Apparel, accessories and lifestyle products from more than 70 French labels and designers looking to clear their stock in Lille.
Beauty Bar : make-up and nail art by Acte Académie, Matière Brute Lab cosmetics workshop and Bernard Forever tattoo bar
DIY Workshops conducted by the designers and special Maisons de Mode guests: Le Fleuriste, République du Chiffon, Dame Belette, Britney Pompadour x La Bobette, Caroline Bourgeois
