Drawing from deep within her soul, former artistic director Laurence Bouchel loves to roll up her sleeves and play with gorgeous materials, transforming them into unusual pieces that are innovative and feminine.
Passionate about crafting things by hand, she was first drawn to create jewellery – resulting in her launching her own brand, Au Fil de Lo, in 2006..
Her debut collection employed gems, glass beads and silver-plated brass chains. But her style has evolved over subsequent collections, always maintaining her unique aesthetic. .
Her signature is refined, yet with a rock ‘n’ roll edge. She fashions quality materials into dazzling pieces, with her keen eye drawing inspiration from the world around her.
Discovered through her participation in Marché des Modes, Bouchel was supported by Maisons de Mode for 24 months. During this time, she opened her first boutique in Roubaix, hired an assistant and presented her collections in various professional fairs in Paris. She has since set up shop in a lovely boutique in Bondues while her points of sale have grown exponentially both in France and abroad.
