Maisons de Mode will be on hand at the Traffic trade show taking place at Paris’ Carreau du Temple this April 4 and 5.
Want to know more about our events? Want to join Maisons de Mode? Let’s meet up during these two days dedicated to young fashion designers.
For ten years, Maisons de Mode has guided and supported more than 100 labels and designers, watching the genesis of great brands such as Le Colonel Moutarde, Justine Clenquet, Demeure, and Clivia Nobili, among others…
Who will succeed KSRT Studio the winner of 48H Maisons de Mode’s 2017 Grand Prize who joined the incubator-accelerator and just opened its boutique at 51 Rue du Faubourg des Postes?
Fragrance, jewellery, accessories, footwear, leather goods, ready-to-wear (menswear, womenswear and childrenswear): Maisons de Mode will continue to support designers and labels with its 2018 Grand Prize. It will also offer to the best candidate chosen €25,000 in support to grow his/her business and collections.
It’s a fact: being a designer doesn’t just mean creating collections. It also means creating a business. It is therefore essential to use all possible means to succeed. Maisons de Mode allows each designer who joins the project the opportunity to set up operations in Lille or Roubaix to advance the structuring of his/her business while benefiting from a wide range of services unprecedented in France.
For the 2018 edition, a pre-filled-in questionnaire will help applicants form their best answers and narrow down the important points that are essential criteria for the business and economics of fashion.
Having received several applications from around the world, Maisons de Mode just started its selection cycle to choose the labels that will join the project this autumn.
On the first day, eight designers came before a jury of professionals to present the fruits of their labour. Two more selection days will follow in June. You’ll be able to find out which applicants made the cut in July, when they’ll immediately get to work with the Maisons de Mode team for the annual 48H Maisons de Mode fashion show.
