Who will succeed KSRT Studio the winner of 48H Maisons de Mode’s 2017 Grand Prize who joined the incubator-accelerator and just opened its boutique at 51 Rue du Faubourg des Postes?

Fragrance, jewellery, accessories, footwear, leather goods, ready-to-wear (menswear, womenswear and childrenswear): Maisons de Mode will continue to support designers and labels with its 2018 Grand Prize. It will also offer to the best candidate chosen €25,000 in support to grow his/her business and collections.
It’s a fact: being a designer doesn’t just mean creating collections. It also means creating a business. It is therefore essential to use all possible means to succeed. Maisons de Mode allows each designer who joins the project the opportunity to set up operations in Lille or Roubaix to advance the structuring of his/her business while benefiting from a wide range of services unprecedented in France.
For the 2018 edition, a pre-filled-in questionnaire will help applicants form their best answers and narrow down the important points that are essential criteria for the business and economics of fashion.

Les sélections continuent chez Maisons de Mode !

Ils ont été plus de 21 candidats pré-sélectionnés à se présenter en mai et en juin aux membres du comité, et ce n’est pas fini puisque s’en suivra une nouvelle sélection en juillet.

Au delà même de l’ambition de remporter les 25.000 euros, les candidats viennent rencontrer le jury pour bénéficier d’un retour sur leur marque, avancer et pouvoir pousser à terme la porte de leur propre boutique-atelier à Lille ou à Roubaix !

Joining Maisons de Mode : the selection process has begun

Having received several applications from around the world, Maisons de Mode just started its selection cycle to choose the labels that will join the project this autumn.
On the first day, eight designers came before a jury of professionals to present the fruits of their labour. Two more selection days will follow in June. You’ll be able to find out which applicants made the cut in July, when they’ll immediately get to work with the Maisons de Mode team for the annual 48H Maisons de Mode fashion show.

Launch into fall with a Maisons de Mode pop-up shop

We recently launched the sign-up for the Braderie des Créateurs and the end-of-year Maisons de Mode events. Maisons de Mode is offering designers more than just the opportunity to take part in our weekend events. You also have a chance to be part of a Pop-Up Shop at Le Vestiaire in Roubaix. A Pop-Up Shop is the perfect way to introduce your creations and aesthetic for a minimum of three months at Le Vestiaire, while meeting your clientele and refining your commercial skills and product with while taking advantage of Maisons de Mode’s experience and expertise.

Taking part in a Pop-Up Shop means you’re automatically chosen to be part of the Braderie des Créateurs sale this September and December’s Marché des Modes. Are you up to the challenge? Don’t wait another minute: fill in the Pop Up Sign-Up form  !

Maisons de Mode Grand Prize competition continues

This 15 June, 11 labels were pre-selected to present their work to a jury of industry professionals, which will include: the Fédération du Prêt à Porter Féminin (France’s womens ready-to-wear federation), BOCI, Mondéfilé.com, Playologie, the Printemps department store chain, and more.
All labels had the chance to relate their style philosophy and aesthetics through their products, acquainting the jury with their collections.
At the end of the process, new labels will be joining Maisons de Mode’s fashion incubator and guidance programmes.

You will soon be able to discover the labels chose, who will be on hand at the 48H Maisons de Mode this 16-18 September at the Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille.

Who’s Next and Martine LeHerpeur conseil present the Fashion Trends of Tomorrow 7 june in Lille

The Who’s Next and Première Classe trade fairs (Paris), the Martine LeHerpeur Conseil Agency and Maisons de Mode will present Fashion Trends of Tomorrow (les Tendances Mode de Demain) Tuesday 7 June in the Jardin de Mode (Lille).

On this date, Who’s Next and Première Classe (Paris) and the Martine LeHerpeur Conseil Agency will be offering a conference where attendees will see what trends are in store for Autumn/Winter 2016-2017, as well as an exclusive presentation of Summer 2017 trends.

A veritable fashion industry must, the Who’s Next trade fair brings together more than 700 international ready-to-wear brands from around the world to each of its editions (January and September) with 50,000 visitors in attendance. Since starting 20 ago, it has become the international leader in womenswear trade fairs in Europe. Who’s Next takes place next to Première Classe, the leading accessories trade fair.

The Martine Leherpeur Consulting Agency

Following her start at the style pioneer Mafia, Martine Leherpeur first became journalist whose work appeared in Elle France and the US version of Harper’s Bazaar. In 1988, she created the Martine Leherpeur Conseil with the aim of merging her talents in marketing and fashion by offering an à la carte service for each client. At the time, this was truly a trailblazing innovation.

Martine Leherpeur has made her mark on the fashion industry. Her talents for creating a tribe around atypical values are legendary.

Her agency has a history of partnering with northern French players in the fashion industry, such as the Maisons de Mode and Who’s Next teams with whom Leherpeur has chosen to give this conference in Lille’s Jardin de Mode. Grand Prix Maisons de Mode : les sélections ont commencé !

Les premières sélections pour le Grand Prix Maisons de Mode ont commencé. Durant cette journée, 10 candidats ont rencontré des professionnels du monde de la mode et l’équipe Maisons de Mode afin de pouvoir échanger sur leurs différents projets et leurs collections.

De belles rencontres en perspective et aussi entre créateurs ! Une nouvelle journée aura lieu courant juin afin de découvrir de nouveaux créateurs, de nouvelles collections et des énergies !
